BOYCOTT AGAINST THE SPANISH GOVERNMENT
The Spanish government once again has demonstrated that it ignores the
Cuban and Latin American people’s struggle for democracy. The Spanish
government always puts their self-interests above any social
manifestation by the people of our continent. The Spanish government
thinks they are still in colonial times, when they governed the people
with the tips of bayonets; when they tortured and shot their
opponents; when they killed, tortured, and violated the native Indian
women.
The Spanish government continues humiliating our people. They support
and recognize dictators as legitimate and democratic governments as
soon as they come to power and proceed to defend, in the international
arena, the abuses committed by these dictators against the citizens,
including; human rights violation, torture, execution and unjust
incarceration.
We, the Cuban exile community together with our Latin American
brothers and sisters, who support the principles of democracy and who
reject the Spanish government’s attempt to absorb our sovereignties
hereby declare a boycott against the Spanish companies and their
products. We consider ourselves to be a significant consumer of
Spanish products, currently contributing billions of dollars to their
economy.
In view of the above, we agree to:
1- Begin a Boycott against the Spanish Government, including but not
limited to:
Food products, transportation products and services, tourism, real
state investments, medical products and equipment, navigation
products, agricultural products, and construction services and
materials.
2- This boycott will be gradually implemented as we gather tactical
intelligence regarding the targeted products and or services.
3- We will communicate via e-mail with the community identifying the
targeted Spanish products.
4- There will be no products or services exempt from the boycott.
5- We hereby request the community at large to provide us with
information regarding Spanish products and services
6- This boycott will begin July 11, 2005

BOICOT AL GOBIERNO ESPAÑOL
El gobierno español una vez mas ha demostrado que actúa de espaldas a
la lucha por la democracia del pueblo cubano y de América Latina.
Siempre anteponen sus intereses por encima de cualquier manifestación
social de nuestro continente. Ellos piensan que todavia están en la
época de la colonia, cuando gobernaban a los pueblos a punta de
bayoneta, cuando aplicaban el garrote, y fusilaban a todos los
opositores, cuando mataban a los indios, los torturaban, violaban a
sus mujeres, y en fin cometian toda una larga lista de canalladas.
El gobierno español sigue con sus vejaciones contra nuestros pueblos,
tan pronto surge un dictador lo apoyan y lo reconocen como un gobierno
legítimo y democrático y salen a la defensa internacional de todos los
abusos contra los derechos humanos, torturas, fusilamientos y
encarcelación que estos dictadores cometen contra sus ciudadanos.
Nosotros, los exiliados cubanos, asi como los hermanos
latinoamericanos, que defendemos los principios democráticos y nos
oponemos a la ingerencia a nuestras soberanias por el gobierno
español, declararemos un boicot en contra de las empresas españolas,
por ser nosotros una fuerza económica inmensa como consumidores de sus
productos, aportándoles billones de dolares a su economia.
Teniendo en cuenta todo lo anteriormente planteado acordamos:
1-Comenzar un boicot contra el Gobierno Español:
-A los productos alimenticios y bienes de consumo.
-A las lineas aereas.
-Al turismo.
-A bienes y raices,
-A la industria hotelera.
-A los productos y equípos médicos.
-A los productos de navegación.
-A los productos agropecuarios.
-Al transporte
-A los cruceros.
-A los equípos de construcción y materiales.
2- Este boicot se implementará paulatinamente, según nosotros
recibamos las informaciones de las áreas donde se encuentra los
productos, bienes y equipamientos.
3- Emitiremos partes informativos a la población en general de cuales
son los productos españoles.
4- No haremos ninguna excepción al boicot.
5- Le pedimos a la población en general, información sobre los
productos españoles.
6- Este boicot dara inicio el próximo 11 DE JULIO DEL 2005.
